JoJo Siwa recently said she was immensely proud of her seventeen-year-old self.

The young YouTuber celebrated her queerness with an Instagram post.

And, her fans are more than just happy for the viral content creator.

JoJo Siwa’s Second Coming Out Anniversary

Siwa came out as gay back in January 2021.

The young internet persona announced her sexuality with a lipsynced video featuring Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way”.

Then, she proceeded to make TikTok and Instagram posts pointing things out indirectly.

Lastly, Siwa’s coming out was confirmed when she posted a picture of herself with a t-shirt that read, “Best Gay Cousin Ever.”

The youth icon revealed Demi Lovato and Jenna Dewan’s work as inspiration which helped her to explore her sexual orientation.

Siwa shared how she was drawn to Lovato’s song ‘Cool For the Summer’ at the age of twelve.

The YouTuber vibed to the lyrics without any understanding of the song’s actual meaning.

However, as she grew up, the words from the song started making sense to her.

Siwa also shared how Dewan’s magic number on Lip Sync Battle was all she needed to realize her preference.

In addition, the internet sensation mentioned how she watched the episode on repeat just for Dewan.

JoJo Siwa Showcased Her Pride with Instagram Post

On January 22, 2023, the youth icon reinstated her pride in being a queer individual.

Siwa took to her Instagram to reshare her viral t-shirt snap that read “Best Gay Cousin Ever.”

She captioned her post with the text that read,

2 years ago today. now looking back on everything…. I’m SO proud of 17-year-old JoJo.

In April 2021, she remarked, “I don’t know, bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, homosexual, heterosexual.”

“I always just say homosexual because it kind of covers it or queer because I think the keyword is great,” Siwa further added.

JoJo Siwa’s Relationship with Kylie Prew and Avery Cyrus

The Dance Mums alum has never been private about her relationships.

Her first girlfriend after coming out was Kylie Prew.

However, Siwa broke up with her former girlfriend following an on-and-off relationship.

Shortly after her split with Prew, she started dating Tiktok star, Avery Cyrus.

Soon after, the two started posting Tiktok videos featuring one another.

They also shared a picture on the internet of them kissing each other at “Chuck. E. Cheese”.

Unfortunately, after dating each other for mere three months their relationship ended prematurely.

While the former couple seemed serious about one another in their Tiktok videos.

Siwa claimed she was played and used for clout by Cyrus.

In her video post, the young dancer looked upset about her ex-girlfriend.

“This is my sorry for breaking up with you present,” Siwa said in her video content clutching a silly putty container.

Further, she yelled, “‘Cause I got used!” on TikTok last month accusing her former partner.

“For popularity and influence, I was duped into believing I was adored, and I got [expletive] played,” Siwa continued with her monologue.
