In the comics, this version of Kang is the most dominant and powerful out of his many variants.

But, it remains to be seen how Disney approaches the character’s movie adaptation.

Kang’s other forms include names like Rama-Tut, Scarlet Centurion, Iron Lad, Immortus, The Master of Time, and He Who Remains.

Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie popularly called Lady Loki [*Spoiler Alert] stabbed He Who Remains in the heart with a dagger killing him instantaneously toward the end of the season finale.

But, before her doings, the protector of the sacred timeline gave a rundown of himself and his many versions while explaining their origin story.

It was then Majors as He Who Remains teased Kang to the Marvel fans.

In his explanation,  the creator of TVA said how over time he had been called many names and “Conqueror” was one of them.

This was a passing reference but still a lot to give out.

Who Is Kang the Conqueror?

In the Marvel comics, Kang was born in the 31st century as Nathaniel Richards.

Per the story, he was a scholar and a decedent of Mr. Fantastic/Reed Richards’s time-travelling dad Nathaniel Richards [confusing, right?].

During his early years, Richards travelled to ancient Egypt and became Rama-Tut after finding a time-travelling technology created by Dr. Doom.

Later, he came across the Egyptian villain En Sabah Nur simply known as the X-men antagonist Apocalypse.

Further, his origin story took an interesting turn when time-displaced members of the Fantastic Four banished Richards from the main timeline.

However, he managed to reappear thousands of years later and conquered Earth reinventing himself as Kang the Conqueror.
